Karma♥Bites’s Mercurial Reads

Eclectic, cross-genre mood reader (but of late, mostly erotica, romance & para/UF—including m/m & ménage).  At times, the realities of life & work tend to dictate how UNreal a world I choose for an escape.

Fair warning:  I may walk like a lady but I cuss like a salty sailor. ^.~

The Prize - Julie Garwood This book is such a go-to feel-good read for me; no matter how times I've read it over the years, I still laugh in the same places. Two phrases stick with me to this day: “Checkmate” and “Marriage is like a map”. Oh, Royce... (*sigh*giggle*)

If you want a more detailed explanation why this light-hearted, humorous (yes, sometimes to the point of being silly) medieval story is a DIK, please see Lucille's review on 17-June-2012. All I can say is, "ditto".
